If your dog returns to the safe range, the warning will turn off.
If after 2 times your dog has not returned to the safe area, the system will continue to beep, until dog comes back to the safety area.

We really like the product. Our two dogs reacted very well when we put on their new collars. I took a walk with them to explore their new territory, and they immediately responded to the first bit. One of our dogs went forward, and the collar emitted a zap, causing them to retreat. That was their first experience, and they immediately understood to stay back. We also vacationed at a campsite with family, and we brought the collars with us. That was so cool.

No wires in ground needed will continue to deter dog even after it goes out of bounds until it comes back. Wire based stops once dog over line but this keeps going off when dog out of area.
This is better than the in ground wire because it does not stop until the dog is back in your yard.
Works great once you get it all set up. The instructions were not the greatest, I spent about 20 minutes playing with it before finally realizing the GPS signal was to weak when inside the house. You cannot fully set this up without a strong GPS signal. Once I realized this I took it outside to get stronger signal and the setup went pretty easily.
The distance is accurate, and I like that it gives a round of warning beeps before the shock. The dog has learned that this beep means 'turn around and go home', and has been good about doing so as soon as she hears that beep, and as long as she gets back in range within about 15 seconds there is no shock. Would definitely recommend for anyone who has a problem with wandering dogs!
