Product installed easily and works great. Both my dogs learned the system quickly and were all much happier.
It comes with everything you need! I rescued my dog from the shelter and he has realized he can jump over my fence and has started to escape. I bought him a shock collar and it works great! But that's for only when I'm with him. When I let him outside to play, if I'm in the house he will jump my fence and go. I got this because with his shock collar he responds to the beep and is terrified of the vibration. So with this he won't get near the fence and I can be inside the house and feel at ease knowing when I open the door, he will still be in my yard and not down the road.
This kit comes with everything, and two devices for two dogs. I have trying to find a solution to keep my large dog not to jump our 4 ft tall fence, and this is the most affordable way I found so far.
I was having the hardest time keeping my dog in the yard—she’d always run after the neighbors, and it honestly scared me so much! We even tried a remote collar, but without clear boundaries, she just wasn’t getting it. Finally, we gave this electric dog fence a try, and I’m so glad we did! It only took a few low shocks for her to learn the boundaries, and now she stops the moment she hears the warning beep. It was easy to bury, and the setup was super simple and straightforward. It’s been amazing to let her outside while we’re working on things without worrying. She’s so much happier now, and I don’t have to keep her inside all day. This has been a lifesaver for us!
I would give this system 5 stars but I ordered the system with 3 collars and only received one, I contacted seller and they said they are shipping me the other 2 collars. Right now my dogs are sharing. But it's all set up, and it works amazing! I've tried other systems all I have returned since my dogs were being shocked all the time no matter where they were. This one is very accurate, I left it at the preset settings. All my dogs are listening perfectly. No more running away. I highly recommend this product.
I was really surprised at all of the amazing affordable dog fence options available here on Masbrill! This one here works GREAT. My only issue with it is it's a pretty labor intensive ordeal setting it up, and there's a few different parts and pieces to it where if it's not set up EXACTLY right the fence will not work.
It took us a day just to dig the perimeter trench for the wire, then the next day we were definitely out there for almost 3 hours trying to get it to work. I think most important is it DOES WORK- and it works great- it's just alot of work setting up, then alot of trouble shooting and adjusting. We have had ours set up for around 2 months now and it has worked perfectly since the day we turned it on.
My advice for someone setting this up for the first time would to be pick where you want your control panel to be mounted FIRST- for this fence to work 1- it needs to be plugged into an outlet, which might limit people as to where they can place the control panel, then 2- one end of your wire barrier needs to be attached to the east side of the panel, and the opposite end of your wire barrier needs to get attached to the "west" side of the control panel, all in one uninterrupted loop around the area your wanting to fence in. You definitely want to start your set up by picking a good spot for your control panel and work on planning and building your fenced in area from your panel out.
Also, you need to train your dog for a good week or two with this fence before your dog learns WHY the collar is beeping, and how to get it to stop. If you just turn on the fence and let your dog out it's going to be a complete failure and your poor dog won't know why it's being shocked, where the barrier is, or how to get it to stop.
We are very extremely happy with this fence- it works great. It took our dog about 10 days of training. Starting around even day 8 we probably were good. The second this collar beeps my dog immediately stops, turns around, and runs up onto our front porch exactly how we trained him to do. This product comes with everything you need- the collar, the transmitter, the control panel, a huge coil of the wire, bright orange little flag stakes for you to stake out a visible perimeter to help your dog SEE the barrier, and detailed extensive training booklets, set up booklets, and collar booklets. If I missed anything it's not because it didn't come, it's simply because we set it up 2 months ago and I might just be forgetting a few of the things that had come in the box. It comes with absolutely everything you need and it works great IF you properly train your dog how to use it properly. Also, you do not need to bury the wire!! You CAN, but you don't have to!
